The corporate office of Fonville Morisey joined together this holiday season in donating 40 meals for 40 families that take part in the Raleigh nonprofit Passage Home Raleigh Safety and Community Club ?Kids Caf?? After School program. Kids Caf? provides tutoring, computer lab access, a hot meal, performing arts, and mentoring after school each Monday through Friday.
The program serves many families from neighboring feeder schools and this Christmas we wanted to give back in a unique way that would give these families an opportunity for a homemade Christmas meal full of all the fixings! Corporate office employees could choose from a specific grocery list that includes such items as instant mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy mix, etc. or they could simply pick up a gift card from a local grocery store that would go to the main dish for the meal.

What a special feeling you get when you visit the Kid?s Caf?, an afternoon program of Passage Home.? ?We visited with Joni Jeffries , Service Director, Wednesday after we delivered the 40 family Christmas dinners.? You know right away that Joni and her staff love what they do and the children love them!? I am so delighted that we could be a small part of their Christmas this year.
