Britney Spears enjoyed a little fun in the sun before the Sept.? 12 season premiere of "The X Factor," and she shared some photographic evidence with her fans.
The pop star posted a photo to her Twitter account Thursday showing off a floral green bikini that accentuates her toned physique. Spears topped off her ensemble with thick black-rimmed glasses and wore her blonde locks loose in a look perfect for the beach.

"Having some fun in the sun... don't want summer to be over!" Spears tweeted along with the snapshot.
The "Till The World Ends" singer looked happy and healthy despite recent reports that a judge is hesitant to lift the conservatorship that gives Spears' father control of her personal and professional affairs because Spears suffers from "a serious medical issue"?that affects her ability to make consistently sound decisions.
In interviews over the last few years, Spears has seemed wooden and rehearsed, which many attribute to the mental instability that became obvious after she shaved her head and attacked a car with an umbrella in 2007.
But she will appear on live television regularly this fall as a judge on the second season of Simon Cowell's singing competition show "The X Factor" - and she's making a killing doing it. Spears is being paid a reported $15 million for one season of the show.
